Java Web Start icon is not removed from the desktop after update 1.4.2_0x to the higher jre version on win98 only.

How to reproduce:
1. Install any version of jre 1.4.2_0x from /java/re/jdk/1.4.2_0x on win98
2. Java Web Start icon is created on the desktop
3. Install any mustang jre version from /java/re/jdk/1.6.0/promoted/all/b0x/bundles/windows-i586/jre-6_0-ea-windows-i586.exe
Expected result:
Java Web Start icon is removed from the desktop

Actual result:
Java Web Start icon remain behind on the desktop

Observation on other windows:
The icon got removed after update 1.4.2_0x --> 1.6.0 and gets back on the desktop after un-install 1.6.0.
