Since the _g removal, a top-level clobber in the j2se workspace works differently and is slower than before. It used to just rm -rf some build directories, but now it is recursively calling individual makefiles to clobber. There is also a problem that causes it to fail in the corba code if the workspace is already clobbered.

A log of the old and new clobber (of an already clobbered workspace) is attached.
