The ftp server for downloading docs will be going away, so we need to have
all those files moved and the ftp links changed to http.

For example:

The VM Spec seems to be currently available by FTP:

  http://java.sun.com/docs/books/vmspec/index.html

at:

  Download HTML (tar.Z, ~492K)
  ftp://ftp.javasoft.com/docs/specs/vmspec.2nded.html.tar.Z

There are a few VMSpec download bundles there.
Please move these download bundles to:

  /default/main/sunDeveloper/javaSunCom/WORKAREA/draft/docs/books/vmspec/

and change the links.

Likewise, I've done a search of the docs/books/ subdirectories and
found the following files that contain links to ftp files -- the
full grep results are in the attached file ftp.log.

itself is located, and change the links in each file.

If you could look for ftp links in other directories below docs,
that would be useful.

The ftp bundles have been moved and the links redirected. I did not find any additional ftp links under the docs directory.
