A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
I create managed images using createImage on an java.awt.Panel - if the image is greater than unknown size, it is not drawn fully if painted via drawImage(...) (withought any resizing or other nasty stuff).
I use it in the LwVCL library in an lightweight ScrollPane, so basically I think the following operations occur:
(java.awt.Panel) <-- (Manages Image Backbuffer) <-- (clipping for Scrollpane) <-- (managed image content)
I saw the same problem using VolatileImages, so it may be something wrong with the accerlated copy of the image.
The strange thing is that the size till which the image is drawn varies with the size of the window, but I am not sure if this really is related to the window-size or related to some other factors I don't know.
Maybe the ogl-pipeline assumes my board can make bigger accerlated images that in fact can do?
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Well, it only happens for now in my program and I do not have a test-case which isolates the problem. But it should also work if you do createImage on an java.awt.Panel and afterwards draw it.
Maybe clipping or the second buffered image also has an impact
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
draw the full image
ACTUAL -
the image is not drawn fully. The last part is missing and looks like unrendered.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

CUSTOMER SUBMITTED WORKAROUND :
Use the X11 pipline on Linux or the D3D pipeline on Windows
