Install JDK / JRE b29 on Win2000 machine.
Go through
Start--Settings--ControlPanel--Add/Remove Programs
Select J2SE Development Kit 6.0 or J2SE Runtime Environment 6.0
Click support information.
A popup window is displayed with the information.
Click Close button on the window.
The window does not close.
The close button works on WinXP
