(i filed this is other since i do not know the correct category).
drag and drop any UI component in the java application, and the window manager is locked. the only way to get out of the lock is to login remotely and send SIGKILL to the java process. note that the java app must be running on the second display, :0.1. it works fine on the first display, :0.0.
this has been reproduced on java 1.5.0_b64 and 1.4.2_07-b05. it has been reprodcued on both the CDE (1.5) and gnome (2.8) window managers, on solaris 2.9.
this bug was originally discovered using netbeans 4.1, but has been verified on the "freemind" java application as well.
this is reproducible 100% of the time.
