A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
After updating to latest JVM, PDM application used to manage Cisco PIX firewalls is no longer accessible. Error message points to security/access violation. You'll find details of this issue being discussed at:

So it seems to have risen from the dead - only in the latest version of the JVM. Since the prior version did not have any issues.
This is a serious issue that affects network admins with PIX Firewalls - specifically those with remote data centers.
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
1) Must have Cisco PIX 500 series firewall
2) Must have latest JVM
3) Start IE in Windows 2003 Server (any edition)
4) Navigate to your PIX IP or hostname
EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
Be able to access PDM software on PIX
ACTUAL -
Nothing happens, PDM unable to start due to error message that points to some security access issue. See ongoing thread of issue for details submitted by affected users:

Nothing related to JVM - just operational workarounds.

The above release value was the last known release where this
bug was known to work. Since then there has been a regression.
