I have a choice on a Frame. I am clicking on it and the drop-down appears. I am selecting one of the items in the drop-down and start dragging the mouse upwards / downwards. Now when I move the the mouse down, the items in the drop-down scrolls and each item in the list gets highlighted one by one. I am dragging the mouse out of the drop-down and the last item in the drop-down gets highlighted. Now when I release the mouse, the highlighted item does not get selected and selection still remains with the item where I started dragging. This is not consistant with other similar components such as List.

In a List, when I release the mouse, whatever item is highlighted gets selected automatically. I expect the same behavior to happen in Choice also. If this is incorrect, the list must be fixed.
Motif behavior is same as XToolkit.

This is seen atleast since Tiger on XAWT as well as Motif.

I have attached a sample test for List and Choice. Run the Choice test and do whatever is described above. At the time of releasing the mouse, if the currently highlighted item is not selected, the bug is reproduced.
