comments: in the section that has KDC has no support for encryption type (14) - KDC has no support for encryption type
I received this error when I tried to run the kinit ###@###.###L in SuSE linux 9.2. Not sure if this has anything
to do with your security development kit, but I did try the two solutions you mentioned and it did not fix my problem.
What did fix it, however, is listed below.
After implementing your changes, I still received the error. After searching around the internet, I realized that the
account I was trying to synchronize with active directory needed to be reset.
Basically, I just went into active directory, selected the user Administrator, reset the password to the original
password and everything sort of fixed itself. I guess that the password needs to have its reset flag reset? It
certainly had nothing to do with the error message I received, but you might want to consider adding it to your
documentation. Or not, whatever. I found your site about 4 times through a different search engines and you guys do a
great job of documentation.
