When trying to establish an SSL connection to a server, using client authentication, the SSL connection fails before handshaking completes with the exception:

      javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Error signing certificate verify

This happens with Java 1.5 Update 2 on both Solaris 8 (reported, but not confirmed with test case) and Solaris 9. However, it does not occur with Java 1.5 Update 2 on Solaris 10, and nor does it happen with Java 1.4.x on any of those OS versions.
