build tested - PIT b36 from the following location -
/net/sqe/global/nfs/deployment5/pit_builds

Steps to reproduce -

1) Install the JRE
2) Invoke the Java Control Panel
3) Click on Java tab
4) Click on View button under Java Application Runtime Settings
5) Click on Add button and edit the field under path with the location of any valid jre
6) Click on OK, click on apply, and then again click on View under Java Application runtime Settings.

The jre added by the user will not be there. This happens across all platforms.
