==============================================================
Testcase: BAT test (XML9-UTF and XML11-gb testcases)
Application: AppServer 8.1 UR1 b4
JDK: Mustang b36
Systems: Solaris 9 and RHLinux 4.0 (window not tested)
==============================================================
Those two i18n jsp testcases passed in jdk1.5.0_01.
testcase location: (XML9-UTF.jsp and XML11-gb.jsp)
rocketman:/opt/APPSERVER/appserver-sqe/pe/tomcat/jsp/jsp2_0/src/server/jsp2-test
s/jsp2/I18N
Test failures: XML9-UTF and XML11-gb
http://sqeweb/st4/VM/APPSERVER/sparc_rocketman_SunOS/jsp20-result.html
Steps to reproduce the bug:
a) Run with bundled AS 8.x JDK
1- Start the appserver with bundled JDK
2- cd to appserver-sqe/pe/tomcat/jsp/jsp2_0
3- do "ant clean build deploy"
4- bring a browser and enter http://host:8080/tcatjsp2-
tests/jsp2/I18N/XML11-UTF.jsp
Don't close this browser. Save it for comparison with JDK 6.0
5- do "ant undeploy"
b) Run with JDK 6.0
1- Start the appserver with JDK 6.0
2- Repeat step 2 & 3 as above
3- Use "another" browser and view the output. You should
see some question mark on the page as compare to previous
page
4- do "ant undeploy

****************************************************************************
- I attached the 2 log files. The log.jdk1_4 file had
the tests passed with jdk 1.4.2 (which is bundled with AS 8.1 PE)
The log.jdk1_6 file had the tests failed with jdk 6.0
- It's best for engineering to use the machine and url as mentioned above
by Hung to view the outputs. With the log files those Chinese characters
aren't viewed correctly
