Wait Cursor must be set on any splash screen that is shown but this does not work on Solaris and Linux platforms. It works fine on Win32 platform.
This is reproducible on the following PIT build:
java version "1.6.0-awt.pit-int-awt-blade"
Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.6.0-awt.pit-int-awt-blade-dm97671_20_May_2005_10_19-b00)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.6.0-ea-b37, mixed mode)
I am able to reproduce this bug on SolarisSparc10-JDS and Linux RH9. I have attached a sample test and the image.
