Per Michael Fang, filing this bug under java/classes_swing for HP.
HP (PC-OEM) reported the following problem on their system:
TR is not a localized languages so English is being used. Looks
like a formatting issue on the properties page.
There is no selection pattern in advanced tab of Java Properties.
HP is running Win XP Pro. TR is Turkish. The steps to reproduce are:
1. Dash/unbundle sku #361358-143[XPP/TR/Rev 3]
2. Open Java Properties found there is no selection pattern in advance tab.
*TR failed so far.
* US is fine.
See attachment for picture.
Notes from Michael:
Thanks for the info and screens. No, we have not seen this before. We actually do not test Turkish. This could be a java/classes_swing or java/classes_lang issue for Turkish locale.
Please file a new bug for java/classes_swing.
This may possibly be related to 6208680 about toLowerCase/toUpperCase issue with Turkish. ControlPanel uses toLowerCase in their code.
