JDK-2127384 | unknown | Unassigned | P3 | Closed | Cannot Reproduce |
Using Solaris 10u1 build 6
Steps to reproduce:
* Start up
* Start up jdshelp by going to Launch -> Help
* Manually go to the "Page Setup" or "Print" dialog box (cant do this with gok - see #6286676)
* "UI Grab" a combo box in "Page Setup" or "Print" window and try to change it's value.
Note that the "Page Setup" or "Print" window's combo boxes are accessible but when you choose another value, the value doesn't change.

The print and page setup boxes are controlled by the swing component.

1) start GOK (I suggest using dwell mode, possibly with the corepointer as it's easiest, though not the preferred/supported configuration)
2) start JDSHelp
3) by dwelling on GOK buttons with JDSHelp focussed, you should be able to use UI Grab to display a set of buttons corresponding to UI components in JDSHelp. The combo boxes should have GOK buttons available. Note however that dwelling on those GOK buttons and interacting with the next set of GOK buttons displayed has no effect on the JDSHelp UI.
If you want to see the expected/correct behavior, try GOK with another app such as gnome-help. Make sure that assistive technology support is enabled (Launch->Preferences->Accessibility->Assistive Technology Support) before you log in to this test session.
