With OGL enabled, the Swing JSlider control shows some transparency on Solaris10-sparc with Mustang B43, or later builds.
The JSlider is drawn properly, however the diamond shape slide control is transparent (not filled). This allows you to see through it which is not correct.
- This bug is reproducible most of the time, but may dissapear if you run the same application with an earlier build that does not have the bug, such as b42.
- The bug has been reproduced on the following Solaris-sparc systems:
Sunblade 2500, XVR-1200, patch level 113887-27
Sunblade 2500, XVR-600, patch level 113887-27
- Not able to reproduce the failure with default mode or on other platforms with OGL.
Steps to reproduce:
==================
1) Using Mustang build b43 or later go to the demo directories
2) From within the SwingSet2 demo directory run:
../../../bin/java -Dsun.java2d.opengl=True -jar SwingSet2.jar
- after the application launches, click on the "JSlider" tab which will bring up the panel with many JSliders. The bug should be visible. Note that some sliders will be filled and others may not.
2) From within the Java2D demo directory run:
../../../bin/java -Dsun.java2d.opengl=True -jar Java2Demo.jar
- after the application launches, click on the "Transforms" tab which will bring up the demo panel that contains some sliders. The bug should be visible.
