(First mention of Java on a page, or perhaps in a context, requires a trademark.)

Java 2 Platform, Standard Edition <whatever version> --> Java Platform, Standard Edition 6

Java 2 Runtime Environment --> Java SE Runtime Environment

j2se --> javase (directory name in URLs)
Mustang directory structure names are changing from java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs
to java.sun.com/javase/6/docs

J2SE --> Java SE

J2SE <whatever version> --> Java SE 6

J2SE Runtime Environment <whatever version> --> Java SE Runtime Environment 6
                                                          (abbreviation is still JRE)

J2SE Development Kit <whatever version> --> Java SE Development Kit 6
                                                          (abbreviation is JDK)

Java 2 SDK --> JDK

J2SDK --> JDK
