The package used: j2sdk-1_4_2_10-solaris-*.tar.Z After a dirty install on the same build at the default directory (i.e. /usr/j2se) a symbolic link to the same directory with the same name appears there. (/usr/j2se/j2se -> ../j2se) That link remains even after the removal of all packages.
      How to reproduce:
      1. Copy the bundle to any machine.
      2. Unpack it:
         $zcat j2sdk-1_4_2_10-solaris-i586.tar.Z | tar -xf -
      3. Switch user to 'root'.
      4. Install the product
         #pkgadd -d . SUNWj3*
The product will be installed in /usr/j2se.
      5. Install the product again. Agree to ovewright all conflicted files.
