Unable to create shortcut for the application which has * in the title

Tested OS : Windows
Tested Build : Mustang PIT build 50

Steps to reproduce :

1. Install mustang PIT build 50 (24-Aug-2005)
2. Clear Cache
3. Launch Java Control Panel
4. In the advanced tab, set the shortcut creation to "Prompt User"
5. Launch any application which has * in the title. for eg., <title>Appln using 1.5*</title>

Desktop Integration Warning "The application would like to create shortcuts. Do you want to contiue ?" is displayed
6. Press ok
Getting the following error : "Unable to create shortcut for Appln using 1.5*"
and the application is launched

The above bug is applicable if the title has any of the following characters \ / : * ? " < > |
Also if the title is just 'nul'
