This is split off bug from 4924220.
Some glyphs were reported to look different from their appearance in natie applications
such as Wordpad.
Namely, following glyphs were reported for 11pt Microsoft Sans Serif
MQUWcoswxy0689,*~ (BOLD)
Some of them seems ok - since original bug was reported algorithmic bolding
implementation was significantly changed and number of scan conversion glitches were
fixed. However, some glyphs still have glitches, e.g. capital M.
We need to do better job on this.
11pt microsoft Sans Serif Q in Java looks different from one rasterized by
native Microsoft application (e.g. 8pt font in Wordpad)
