In the first phase of install stats, there is no way to determine if the ping is legitimate. Any user with the right tools, can see the network traffic from our pings. They could possibly generate pings and manipulate our install stats results. We should investigate if there is a way to make sure that our pings are legitimately from our own .exe's.
