The above tests look like the glyphs pixels are all shifted higher.

The test compares with two builds, where base build used for comparison here is b48, the target build here is i18n nightly build, built on top of b51, when a couple of days ago the nightly build was built on top of b50, these failures weren't shown. These start to show from Mustang b51, was not there with b50 or prior builds. I guess some fixes between b50 and b51 had impacted these failures.

I'm reporting this as a swing bug, but if it turns out our tests need to be modified due to Swing implementation changes, will modify the bug accordingly.

The failed tests are of components:
JEditorPane, JtestField, JTextArea, and JTextPane

The above test cases all passed as of with base build: b68, and target build b73.
Closing the bug as not reproducible ...
