      PLease look at the RAVE bug for more information. But it looks like the the replacement of a class definition does not work so well with shared memeory transport??

      We are using
      java version "1.5.0_04"
      Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Standard Edition (build 1.5.0_04-b05)
      Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 1.5.0_04-b05, mixed mode)

      It looks like it works (for very simple changes) on Linux (with TCP transport) but not on XP.

      I know, there are a lot of pieces involved here:-(
