In Global suite manual testing(gs16-b07.tar) on awt, one korean character (unicode \ud55c) is not rendered properly in menu and CheckboxMenuItem. One dot is missing in upper left of the character.
Please see the attachment.
Incorrect-10.png is the screen shot of the incorrectly rendered character.
Correct-12.png is the screen shot with the correctly rendered character.
This problem only happens when font size is 10. When font size is bigger than 10, the character can be displayed correctly.
To reproduce
1. Extract the attached checkmenu.zip
2. Open CheckboxMenuItemRenderTest4.html with appletviewer or IE + jre plugin
3. The frame will be poped up from the applet. In the menu and the menu item of the frame, the first character in the string is incorrectly rendered.
Test environment:
Platform: Win2000-Pro/ko, WinXP-Pro/ko
No problem on Solaris or Linux
Jdk build: Since mustang b11
no problem in jdk1.5.0
Test suite: gs16-b07.tar
