JES requires all RPMs conform to the Sun RPM standard, defined in WSARC 2004/009, as defined in the document

For each release of JES that is shipping with 5.0 updates, waivers have been granted for existing J2SE RPMs that are non conformant, since such a change isn't possible in an update of a release.

Mustang is the first opportunity to make our RPMs conform to the Sun RPM standard.
