The following bug seems to happen only on windows XP home edition. It worked okay on XP professional version. And 1.6.0-rc-b61 jdk was installed on XP-Home edition.
IE browser window is hanging on the following scenario:
1. Goto http://java.sun.com/docs/books/tutorial/sound/SoundApplet.html
2. Don't click any button on the SoundApplet GUI. And press the browser "back" button.
3. Then "General Exception" dialog message appears.
4. And clicking "ok" button on the dialog box causes the browser window to hang.
In XP-Professional, no "General Exception" dialog message appears and I was able to go back. So the problem is specific on XP-home edition.
