linux_redhat_7.2
This bug was originally found in JES i18n testing.
To reproduce the bug
Install jdk1.5.0_06 on Redhat linux 7.2
Locale is zh_CN.gb2312
using Gnome as the desktop
Running the jfc demo in jdk, like Notepad, SwingSet2, Some S. Chinese characters are displayed as aquares. Please see attached sreenshot.
Change the bug from P3 to P5, as redhat7.2 is not supported by Java5.0 and 1.4.2. Anyway, it seems that JES supports rh7.2, so I did not close the bug. Maybe the one from JES team can give more comments.

http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/system-configurations.html
change subcatogery to fontprop. I am still not quite sure which category is the proper one. Anyway, it's better for JES team to file a rfe, if they feel it's necessary to support redhat7.2. This bug can be closed.
