This is an enhancement of the build process to take advantage of CR <NNNNNNN> to isolate Hotspot library details from objects that must link to it. See the details in the bug above as well as well as background in the notes of CR 4777947.
This rfe has to do with the way libjvm.so is found by the java launcher, however the details are not clear. Some clarification would be helpful.
