DefaultProxySelector can't find libgconf

      On a Sun W2100z (dual opteron) workstation running SLES9, the native code in the DefaultProxySelector is looking for libgconf-2.so in /usr/lib. It ought to be looking
      in /opt/gnome/lib64 (or in /opt/gnome/lib for 32-bit).

      Consequently, the user proxy information is not available.
