The last selected character in the textfield or the last selected character in the row of the textarea flickers( selection should be from first to last or last but one).
The problem is explained in detail as follows.

Step to reproduce
---------------------
1) Run the attached program.
2) Type some characters ( say 15 characters ).
3) Press the home button on the keyboard (you can the cursor is in front of the first
   character).
4) start selecting the characters by presssing shift + right arrow key.
5) Select the first 5 characters
6) Observe that the 5th char and the 6th char starts flickering when the cursor stays in-between 5 and 6.

I tested this on solaris 10 (JDS) , Solaris sparc 8 U7 (open win). Looks like it got introduced somewhere in-between Mustang b30 and b40. Not reproducible on Tiger. hence it is a regression in Mustang. It can be seen very clearly in b70 .
