I have a frame with a menubar. Menubar contains only one menu to the left. But when I click on the right side of the menubar where no menuitems are found, I could see that the component is losing the focus and mouse is grabbed by the menubar. I need to click the mouse again to bring the focus back to the component. It makes sense when this happens on clicking a menu/menu item in the menubar but I am not quite sure whether it is a right behavior to grab the mouse when clicking an empty portion of the menubar.

This is reproducible on XToolkit only on Mustang and not on Tiger-FCS. This is not reproducible on Win32 or Motif. Hence this looks like a regression. I reproduced it with SolSparc10-JDS with Mustang-b73. Swing also doesn't behave this way.

I have attached a sample test. Execute the sample test. Click on the text area. Text area gains focus. Click on the empty portion of the menubar. Check whether focus is there in the text area. Move the mouse over textarea. Check whether text cursor is shown. If not, the bug is reproduced.
