I logged into a remote RHEL4.0-AMD64 machine from my local SolSparc10 (sunblade-2500) machine and trying to run some GUI apps on OpenGL using linux-amd64 binaries. Display is set to my local sparc machine. A message is printed saying OpenGL pipeline is enabled for def config. But none of the swing/AWT applications are loading properly and I can only see an empty frame being shown.
I am getting the following error messages on the console and the message varies from application to application. Only the top-level window is getting loaded.
Xlib: sequence lost (0x100c0 > ox13e) in reply type 0xe!
Xlib: sequence lost (0x10000 > ox13e) in reply type 0x0!
This is reproducible with Mustang-b73. I could not try it on Tiger-FCS since it causes a VM crash. This is reproducible with any GUI applications and you can use Demos to reproduce it. I have given the output of 'glxinfo' under comments. I have also attached a couple of tests, just in case if you need.
