5.0u7 b02 (respin) PIT testing - testing of RFE#6366599 (http://sqeweb.sfbay/deployment1/SQE/testing/toolbar/TestSpec_AggressiveAutoUpdate.html)

Installed 5.0u7 b02 PIT bundle. Scheduled an auto-update. Set system time and advanced date +1. Set UpdateServletURL to point to mustang update. Rebooted several times. NO AUTO-UPDATE DETECTED!!! If I do a manual update it works fine and downloading/installation of mustang proceeds as normal. I set my UpdateServletURL to http://urts071.india.sun.com/results/plugin/raj/update/mustang.xml

Did the following as a sanity check:
Installed 5.0u7 (from 23Feb). Scheduled an auto-update. Set system time and advanced date +1. Set HKLM/SOFTWARE/JavaSoft/Java Update/Policy/UpdateServletURL to above mentioned .xml file. Rebooted and within 1-2 minutes of reboot mustang update was detected, downloaded and installed.
I used the 5.0u7 (from 23Feb) from this location http://j2se.east/plugin/1.5.0_07-nightly/2006-02-23.16_18/windows-i586/

I also checked with 5.0u3 and was successfully able to do auto-update to java.sun.com on the system under test (win-xp-home).

This looks like a regression from 5.0u7 (23Feb) to 5.0u7 b02 (respin).
This failed for me on win-xp-home and win-2000-pro as well.
