SunReserve3- Floorplan applet loading progress bar exceeds the progress bar end limit

    • b90
    • x86, sparc
    • solaris, solaris_9
    • Verified

      Tested OS/Browser:
                              Solaris-sparc 9 (Gnome2)/ Ultra 10/ NS 7.0
                              win 2000 pro(sp4)/IE6
                              win XP-home (sp2)/ IE6

      Tested build: jre 1.6.0-beta2-b75
                       jre 1.5.0_07-ea-b01

      Problem:
      -------
SunReserve 3.0- floorplan applet loading progress bar exceeds the progress bar end limit.
The problem occurs in Mustang (tested with latest beta2-b75), but doesn't happen in 5.0u7-b01

      Steps to reproduce:
      ------------------
      1) Install jre 1.6.0-beta2-b75 into the test system
      2) Browse http://sunres3.central.sun.com
      3) Login using your SunID and LDAP/Regis password
      4) Click 'My Buildings and Spaces' under 'My Preferences'
      5) Click 'View Floor Plan' under 'Reservable Drop-in Preferences'
      6) Select the location and building
(ex: Choose CA/SANTA CLARA under UNITED STATES, and building SCA12/1)

      7) Click 'Select'

While loading the applet floorplan (SCA12/1 in this case), the applet loading progress bar
exceeds the progress bar end limit. This problem occurs in Mustang latest build (b75), but not with 1.5.0_u7-b01 on the same machines, configurations. This problem looked similar to CR#6259922, CR#5101978 but they were fixed, and integrated in Mustang b70.

The test was performed with enabling the deployment cache. The slower machine you use, the progress bar incorrect behaviour is noticed clearly.
