Antialiased fonts in Linux without Gnome

      A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
      Latest version of Java shall pick up font settings and from desktop properties. This is only true if I am runnig Gnome, but I prefer KDE and have no way to run Java applications with antialiased fonts.

      JUSTIFICATION :
      All other applications (QT and GTK) uses antialiased fonts and Java looks ugly without this. The system can use antialiased fonts and I dont think half the Linux userbase shall be left outside because they prefer another desktop environment (KDE).
