A DESCRIPTION OF THE PROBLEM :
After repointing my jdk from j2se 5.0 to j2se 6.0 beta, all java applications on my system have problem to correctly display the turkish character small "Å". The capital letter "Å" is displayed without problem, but its small equivalent...
I read in your bugs database some similar bug reports. The regression tests for i18n are failed. I send this report hoping to locate the source of the problem, hoping you may fix it using this additional info...
STEPS TO FOLLOW TO REPRODUCE THE PROBLEM :
Change your jdk to j2se Beta 6.0 and run any java application. Press the "Å" key
If you have difficulty to read this character on your screens it is the turkish accented "s" with an accent at bottom.
REPRODUCIBILITY :
This bug can be reproduced always.

The above release value was the last known release where this
bug was known to work. Since then there has been a regression.
