A DESCRIPTION OF THE REGRESSION :
Some Applets are no longer getting Cached.

Whenever I access a certain Applet it now gets downloaded from the site every time I want to use it (even though it has not changed). This means waiting for a few minutes every single time I want to use it. Also I can see on the disk that it is getting copied there everytime I use it, however I assume the old ones will eventually get removed so this is not such a problem.

I am using Mozilla Firefox on Windows (tested on XP and 2000), and hence the Java Plug in.

I have uninstalled JRE 1.6 from the computer where I will be using this Applet, and now it works fine again.

REPRODUCIBLE TESTCASE OR STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
Enter the page with the Applet.
      Wait for it to start.
      Restart the Web Browser.
Enter the page with the Applet again.

(URL with the site will be provided on request, but I would prefer that the URL does not appear on Sun's Web Site in order to reduce the number of downloads of this Applet.)

      RELEASE LAST WORKED:
      5.0 Update 6

      RELEASE TEST FAILS:
      mustang-beta

      EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
      EXPECTED -
The Files to be cached. On earlier JDKs the zip files were cached under ../Sun/Java/Deployment/cache/javapi/v1.0/jar and were only getting downloaded again when the Applet was modified.
      ACTUAL -
The Files are now copied to ./Sun/Java/Deployment/cache/6.0 everytime I go to use them.
This takes a few minutes each time.

      OBSERVED APPLICATION IMPACT:
This Applet is getting used by lots of people all day everyday and hence once they upgrade to 1.6 their own time to get started will be much slower and the pay load on the server will be a lot higher as everyone will be downloading the Applet each time they go to use it.
