PIT: RadialGradientPaint with a smaller radius looks weird for NO_CYCLE CycleMethod

I am creating a RadialGradientPaint with a radius of 0.5/1/2 etc and using this RGP to fill a rectangle. I am choosing NO_CYCLE CycleMethod. The output paint is no longer radial and I see a series of colored vertical bands. This appears to be incorrect. For other CycleMethods such as REPEAT and REFLECT, I still see some circles even though the colors with which they are rendered are slightly different.

This is reproducible on all platforms with b81 2D PIT build.
