If I go to Solaris 10 host from a Gentoo Linux 2006.01 workstation running XFree86 6.8.2, JConsole displays an empty window and hangs up (or seems to).
The problem does not reproduce on SuSE 9.3 or when X server is running on Solaris or Windows.
Gentoo is not supported, filing this bug just in case and assigning it P5.
