To reproduce the problem follow the steps mentioned

1) setup jdk1.5.0_08 build.
2) Start up SwingSet2 Demo application
3) the first Demo that is visible is the InternalFrame Demo. note the border width of the Internal Frame's in the demo.
4) switch look and feel to windows look and Feel. check the border width now.

the width will be very large and easily noticeable
