A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
The synopsis just about says it all. This is a request for the javax.jnlp API to be enhanced by adding a Preferences service.

JUSTIFICATION :
I want to use the Preferences API from within the sandbox. (Signing the application, and requesting all permissions, just so that preferences can be used, is a big deterent.)
