A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
javax.swing.TransferHandler provides methods for creating default cut, copy and paste actions. However, no delete action is provided. This is an essential action in most editing environments, and would be a very useful inclusion in the data trasnfer mechanism in Java.

JUSTIFICATION :
At the moment, the user must create ugly custom code to delete objects via java data transfer. By extending the mechanism to include this important case, UI design would be much easier.
