with a long jmx url, the 'reconnect' dialog window becomes larger than the window size
and grows out to the right. It cannot be moved since it doesn't fit in the window.
The "reconnect" button is on the far right-hand side of the dialog, so falls off the
edge of the screen. This makes it impossible to reconnect unless you can enlarge the
size of the jconsole window sufficiently to see all the URL.

We have this problem in our product with some longer URLs.
