This is one way in which performance upon concurrent mode failure
could be improved (marginally) with only a little effort. It would
be additive to other improvements in this area, such as mating
CMS with an parallel compactor to be used upon concurrent mode
failure, or better still dynamic switching between old gen
collection policies (which subsumes the former).
