JDK Info: 6.0 b91
OS: Linux/Solaris with Gnome/JDS
Steps to reproduce:
------------------
1) Install jre on Linux/Solaris with Gnome/Gnome
2) Launch Java ControlPanel
3) Change to "Java" tab
4) Click on "View..." button from "Java Application Runtime Settings"
5) click on "Find" from the pop up "JNLP Runtime Settings"
6) Click "Next" button on the pop up "JRE Finder"
7) Choose "/" from the drop down box
8) Under "Folders" click "../" to change directory to the parent directory
9) Keep clicking "../" for a couple of times
You can notice the path changing to "/../../../../.." though we are already at the "/" directory

Expected Behavior:

Once "/" directory is reached, clicking "../" should not append "../" to the path displayed
