Description of the problem:

Install jre1.7.0 on the local machine.
For Unix machines, register the plugin with the Mozilla browser.
Open the Mozilla browser, and click on Help -> About Plugins

From the list of registered of mimetypes, the following mimetype is missing
application/x-java-applet;version=1.7

Note : mimetype for jpi-version=1.7 is registered.
