Product Version = NetBeans 5.5 RC1 (Build 200610030000)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor; Home = 1.5.0_09; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 1.5.0_09-b02; Sun Microsystems Inc.; d:\Java\jdk1.5.0_09
System Locale; Encoding = en_GB (nb); Cp1252
NetBeans IDE silently crashes. I don't have any reproducible steps.
I have encountered this problem only for jdk1.5.0_09 (b02), with NetBeans 5.5 RC1 on Windows only (on linux machine it works fine). I haven't encountered this problem for other jdks (jdk1.6.0, jdk1.5.0_07).
I have tried to reproduce it with different locale (de_DE), but I haven't encoutered any problem.
Last week I haven't encountered any crash by switching between localizations (en_GB <-> de_DE). Since today I have new hardware and new installation of Windows XP with SP2.
