A DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUEST :
Would be good to add some more user-friendly support for Default Context/Popup Menu for Text Components. Quick googling gives some developments in the field:

JUSTIFICATION :
This is about ease of use and usability of Swing.

EXPECTED VERSUS ACTUAL BEHAVIOR :
EXPECTED -
A lot of Swing users expect a basic menu related to say selected text to appear for Swing Text components.
ACTUAL -
No default text related menu exists for Swing Text components.
