Specific to Solaris and CDE environment.

run the attached test as follows.
java -splash:javaonesplashtest.gif JavaOneSplashTest

Defect is:
1. The Progess bar which is displayed is very very slow in CDE.
2. Flickering: observe the duke image.

It works fine in solaris JDS and linux the speed is really good in these environments.
