The fix for 6333613 backported to the 1.5.0_10 update release tree was applied incorrectly. The native method Java_sun_awt_windows_WCanvasPeer_disableNativeBackgroundErase was lost in the delta 1.82 of file src/windows/native/sun/windows/awt_Canvas.cpp. You can see that that delta is actually empty.
